Character Meet and Greet Disneyland Paris

Have you always dreamed of talking to your favorite characters from Disney movies that are special to you?

Now is your chance! You can meet some of Disney’s most beloved characters at Disneyland Paris and re-enact your memorable movie scenes with them.

Every person cosplaying as a Disney character is so professional at their job that you can barely tell the difference between the animated and real!

Every character you meet at the park is welcoming and friendly, so don’t shy away from making conversation and approaching them.

Here are some characters you will meet around the park and where you can find them.

Mickey Mouse

You’ll catch Mickey backstage in the dressing room at Frontierland after he performs his elaborate Magician Show, who will show you some additional magic tricks!

In this dressing room, you’ll also see the iconic feather from Dumbo and Mickey’s Fantasia hat.

Visitors can also click exciting pictures of Mickey wearing Minnie’s ears!

If you don’t have time to see Mickey at the Show, you can catch him on the Disney Stars on Parade or beside the Phantom Manor.

Mickey is the most visited character in Disneyland, so wait times can exceed an hour. You can spend this time watching cartoons on the screens!

Disney Princesses

You can meet the beautiful Aurora, Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, Snow White, Jasmine, Rapunzel, or Tiana at the Princess Pavillion in Fantasyland!

It is a luck-by-chance visit, as you’ll only see the princess in the pavilion once you get to the front of the queue.

As it’s one of the only spots to greet the princesses, besides themed cafes and hotels, you’ll have to wait in a queue for 3 hours on crowded days.

The line leading to the front takes you through a corridor, where you can see items like the glass slipper and enjoy interacting with the evil queen’s mirror!

If you miss any of the characters you were excited to meet, you can find them at the Disneyland Paris Shows and Parades.

Marvel Super Heroes

Want to be a part of the Marvel team? You can meet all your favorite characters and ask them for superhero tips to get you started at Walt Disney Studios Park!

The Hero Training Center is the perfect grounds for your new training session, designed as per Tony Starks designs.

You’ll receive personal instructions from Spiderman, Falcon, or even a surprise if you can’t pick among the many brilliant characters!

Visitors can snap exciting pictures with their favorite superheroes as well.

Booking a Reservation

For this superhero adventure, you must book a reservation through the Disneyland mobile app.

Reservation slots open at 10 am and 2.15 pm, allowing you to pick who you want to visit or keep it as a surprise.

However, as this meet and greet is in the Walt Disney Studios Park, you can only access it if you have entry tickets

Star Wars

Star Wars fans can meet the Mandalorian and Grogu in the park and capture exciting pictures in front of a spaceship-like background!

They stand at their reserved set in Discoveryland, right beside the Star Tours adventure.

You can also meet the evil Darth Vader to have a closer look at his costume at the entrance of the ride!

If you’re lucky, you’ll even meet Rey, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, and Kylo Ren at this spot.

This is also one of the more popular Disneyland Paris character meet and greets, and we recommend checking the timings on the app before arriving to avoid crowds.

The Classic Characters

This is the chance for 90’s kids to meet their favorite classic characters from the past at Disneyland!

You’ll meet Captain Hook, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey, Baloo, Chip, and Dale, and all their friends to capture exciting pictures to relive the old memories of childhood.

Book lovers can also shake hands with Alice and the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland!

Visitors can also enjoy a Disneyland Paris Frozen meet and greet by meeting Olaf for a warm hug at this experience.

Jack Sparrow

If you’re in Disneyland in the afternoon, watch for Captain Jack Sparrow, who is occasionally spotted around Adventureland.

He is one of the most charming characters and cracks funny jokes that will make your day better after waiting in a queue for so long.

Visitors with Walt Disney Studio park passes can also meet Pixar characters from Toy Story at Worlds of Pixar!

La Table de Lumiere

This restaurant is one of the grandest in Disneyland Paris, with magnificent interiors inspired by the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles and a fine dining experience.

It’s the perfect spot for a romantic date or to celebrate any special occasion!

The Royal Banquet

Hosted by Mickey and Minnie and all his friends, the Royal Banquet is perfect for visitors looking for a buffet dining experience!

Pile on as much contemporary food as your heart desires from the stacked meat, fish, and veg counters to imitate the royal parties.

Let the Hotel know of your dietary restrictions, as they have dishes for all!

Besides these dining experiences, hotels also have regular meet and greets for their guests without any queues, some of which are:

  • Santa Fe Hotel, Sequoia, and Newport to meet Mickey and his friends.
  • Cheyenne to meet Woody and Jesse.

How to spot characters in Disneyland Paris?

It can be challenging to spot Disney characters while navigating the crowded park during the festive season and on weekends.
