This way you can gain access to the most popular rides like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Zootopia: Hot Pursuit and Soaring Over the Horizon. This way you can enjoy the rides with less waiting time.

Arriving early in the park also gives you ample time to try out all the rides, and enjoy shows, meet and greets, parades and fireworks.

Generally, weekdays and better than weekends based on the crowd levels.

Best Season to Visit Shanghai Disneyland

Spring and Autumn months are the best time to visit Disneyland Shanghai as the temperature is mild and comfortable, making it perfect for a day out.

Spring (March to May) and Autumn (October and November) are the least crowded months, making it ideal for visiting.

However, the crowd levels can increase heavily due to Halloween and other celebrations in the park in October and November.

We recommend you avoid visiting during the summer and winter months as the weather can be hard for an outdoor date.

In addition to the weather, you should also consider the public holidays in China.

It is better not to visit during the Chinese New Year, Chinese National Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and the accompanying weekends.

Often, National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival fall within the same week when Chinese people get the Golden Week of seven to Eight Days holidays.

The Golden Week falls in October and is the busiest time to visit Shanghai Disneyland. Even though average waiting times are low during this month, Golden Week is an exception.

Guests who do not mind the crowd and wish to enjoy festive decor and special shows should visit during the holiday season, including Christmas and New Year’s.

Shanghai Disneyland has eight themed land and 40+ rides and attractions.

Visitors generally spend one full day exploring the park. We recommend you spend two days to get a complete experience.

There are a lot of rides and special theme areas you can’t find in other Disneyland parks like Zootopia world, dining options, shops and more which will make you want to spend another day.

If you are visiting during the weekend or holidays, the waiting time can be high and you will require two days to fully explore the park.

We recommend guests purchase the premier access pass to skip all the lines and make the most of their day at the park.

This way you can skip spending around 30 minutes waiting for each ride and have enough time to enjoy all shows, parades, fireworks and more.
